The Wilds Of Nature's Solitude.*.

The Wilds Of Nature’s Solitude
“The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical,
It is the power of all the art and science” Albert Einstein.

There is no light gilding the edge of the dark cloud that overshadowed,
No heavenly love softening.
Gliding through the misted spheres ,
Far beyond the starry sky,
There I shall wing my flight to worlds unknown,
Beheld in years of exiles mystical communion.
Who can penetrate into the spirit’s mysterious intercourse?
As all spirits surmount the accidents of time and sense,
Passionate impulses hasten from their unsympathising whispering,
In the very presence of the never-ending,
Who’s selfish desire murmurs thought intrude?
How the precious drops of the souls bedewing pleads,
Love and grief dispersed in shrouds damp silence of mists,
Torn between the darkness of never knowing,
Expectation of the light beyond despair,
Briefly dreams of joy and its wreck,
Sanctifying earthly sorrows passionate longings,
Images to the loneliest sufferings,
Consoled within the wild solitude of natures camouflage,
But how shadows wither in craggy mountains taunt,
Unsympathising in reckless mirth and vain show,
A heart which judgement had aroused mercy melts,
But how the consciousness of unworthiness,
Seems,
When reaching out into the mystifying plight.

Loreena McKennitt - Dante's prayer

When the dark wood fell before me
And all the paths were overgrown
When the priests of pride say there is no other way
I tilled the sorrows of stone
I did not believe because I could not see
Though you came to me in the night
When the dawn seemed forever lost
You showed me your love in the light of the stars
Chorus:
Cast your eyes on the ocean
Cast your soul to the sea
When the dark night seems endless
Please remember me
Then the mountain rose before me
By the deep well of desire
From the fountain of forgiveness
Beyond the ice and the fire
Chorus
Though we share this humble path, alone
How fragile is the heart
Oh give these clay feet wings to fly
To touch the face of the stars
Breathe life into this feeble heart
Lift this mortal veil of fear
Take these crumbled hopes, etched with tears
We'll rise above these earthly cares
Chorus
Please remember me
