The Depths Of Desire. *

THE DEPTHS OF DESIRE
What would the universe to our heart be without love?
What would a lantern be without a flame?

You dwell in the depths of desire,
Arousing fountain's flame,
You sleep in the unconscious,
Hazed in twilights mist,
Embracing symphonic seduction,
Entrenched in spontaneous lyricism,
Nourishing passionate tenderness,
Feeding life’s intoxicating breeze,
Gazing with deepening countenance of comatose slumber,
Stirring the rosy fingers of dawns morn,
As heavens gates open to the chariots of the sun,
Breathing essence upon our hour,
Creations inhalation passes over enthusing passions flame,
Absorbing entwined souls in blazing fragments,
Opening the mystical heart of emerald allure.
Mesmerising gems swollen gleam,
Sensually softening drowning the senses,
Oh how!
Celestial love encircles silently above our heads,
As burning perspiration flows like drops of scent,
Bathed in jade’s fragrant perfume we release our souls,
Ecstasy is ours to hold.

The Symbolic meaning behind the emerald allure,
is that of the most precious stone of Jade..The most precious item one could own, in the Anceint culture of china, And most precious gift one could give their lover..

Its beautiful and magical, And Jade was china's royal gemstone with many symbolic qualities. For me in this poem used it in the erotic sense, the precious gift of her self.

Since ancient times, the Chinese endowed jade with much religious and secular symbolism. A 17th-century book of ritual states its virtues as follows: 'If jade is highly valued, it is because, since very olden times, the wise have likened it to virtue. For them, the polish and the brilliancy of jade represent the whole of purity; its perfect compactness and its extreme hardness represent the sureness of the intelligence; its angles - they do not cut although they seem sharp - represent justice; the pure and prolonged sound which it gives forth when one strikes it represents music. Its colour represents loyalty; its interior flaws, always showing themselves through the transparency, call to mind sincerity; its iridescent brightness represents Heaven; its admirable substance, born of mountain and of water, represents the Earth. The price which all the world attaches to it represents the truth.'
